The managers already there have the advantage. Not for the short-term players.
Bugs are fixed quickly and the opinions of the players really matter.
I'm addicted
Complete but easy to play
A active admin and the sugestion take in consideration.
Strongly recommended.
The gameplay have little to do with tactics, but is purely about earning the most money to buy the best players. And having atleast 30-60 min for each player you hope to buy, once you get tired of bot bashing.
Despite the admins clear intent to make it a money/time manager instead of a football managing game. Most managers are very friendly. If you intent to play for realism or to be competitive this is not a good game. But if you just want to play with a friendly community this is a fine game, hang in there for 4-6 months and you might get to play the friendly faces in more then friendly matches.
No realism.
Tactics don't matter, sell your best players and upgrade the weaker spots with cheap old players.
If you have the 20 weekly hours for this, then you can go compete in the top like I did. But for actual football tactics it seem to never come to matter.
Game is in a beta stage at best. But you still have to pay full price for sh*t.
Simulated players means football year round,
which makes the game MORE fun than having an NFL fantasy team.
Granted, there is still room for improvement but the owner is working for improvements step by step and always with an open ear from the very active and nice community.
I played a lot of sports management games and this one is the most open and friendliest I ever found.
Peter, you're doing a fantastic job here!
Kick on rocking!
@Drake88: Really? Bugs never get fixed? You probably never played the game, nor did you see how fast we try to fix errors, once we see them. You find bugs? We even pay to you for posting them, since 1.5 years...
We are really proud of our response times. Check that by yourself.
And anyone who joins the game and has the same problems I did,..have no clue either. Ease of Play should not result in the destruction of your team.
The best news to any and everyone is that it's a world wide non racist football simulation game that will keep you interested from the start without any end.
It´s the most real and complete game about American Football that I´ve seen.
If you read the manual and ask questions you should be fine.
I think Red Zone Action achieves this balance really nicely, and since having signed up has been a really great experience!
The community is present, and most people will gladly help you out (myself included, my user name is mishagi).
The only drawback, which really isnt, is that YOU HAVE TO LIKE AMERICAN FOOTBALL, otherwise dont join, because you have to understand the rules and positions :)
Overall I would give it an 8, because there is a lot of thing to improve like user interface, but most definitely up there with all the other games on this site, if not better.
Probably the best thing is that the longer you play the more addicted you become, because you start picking up on details and polishing your team further for that W!
Very recommendable, specially if you have a couple of gap minutes between, work, commuting, or school, this is a great time filler!
I try to make y reviews reasonable, and try to capture new members without lying and telling it as it is :)
This has to be the BEST out there.
Though I like the powerful stats central feature, your released players are often renamed and given a new country of origin in order to be recycled into bot teams, and these changes are reflected in the stats, rendering the entire all-time stats section meaningless.
That part sucks. Still, have to rate it "best"...
Plenty of suggestions but the developer makes only kid stuff. And that's what this game is, kid stuff, no simulation!
Andrea is right, get FOF7!
Don`t wast your time with this.
A boring game, existed for 20+ seasons now and nothing has improved.
Don't waste your time playing this game.
In Gridiron.org about 6-8 people control the whole game and if you get on the wrong side of any of them they make your playing experience terrible
Friendly community too that are very helpful to new players.
Of course there are injuries. You are right for the penalties...
And the math of the engine is puplic.
No football feel.
as said before, the admin does care about the game and the players, there are very quick response times when bugs are reported.
there is an extensive manual, an active forum.
it is just an awesome american football management game.
Great simulation, deepth chart, playbook, .. very very nice
