Track King - Online horseracing manager game

Description

Track King is a online horse racing stable management game in which you compete against stables managed by other users all over the world.

As a Track King, you take on the role of Stable Manager - or maybe even a Stable Owner! (See Owners Club). You buy, sell and breed horses, manage jockeys and invest the stable's money in training and veterinary facilities and stud breeding programs. You select Cup and League race entrants from the horses and jockeys in your stable that best suit the conditions and are in top form, plan your tactics before the next race, decide on what training is needed and much, much more.

You can keep yourself continuously updated on the state of your stable by logging on to the Track King website, reading your race results and checking out the latest horses on the transfer market. You can also give your jockeys orders for upcoming races and tell the trainers how the horses will train during the week. Track King has been designed to be as simple - or as difficult - as you want it to be. Just entering a couple of races a week using the invitations you're given, and setting a simple training routine for your horses will take less than 15 minutes a week. But if you really want to explore, there's all sorts of stats that you can look into to try and get that extra performance from your steeds.

The best thing about Track King is that there's no 'Game Over'. If your stable goes bankrupt, it's possible to reset. And there's also no right or wrong way to play. Just keep trying, experimenting with different parts of the game, and sooner or later you'll hit a good streak of wins in races, or breed a magnificent foal, or train a superb apprentice jockey...each of which will carry you further along the path to being a successful Track King!

I have been playing for over 3 years, and still haven't managed to master it! Love competing against friends, and enjoy that it's easy to learn, but really deep strategy and planning if you want to.

Only been playing TK for 6 months but loving the challenge even in my less competitive league. And I can move to a more competitve league when I'm ready for more of a challenge.

Love this game! An inexpensive way to pretend to own a gallant steed. There is a lot of competition, and lots to learn. You can see "live" racing, so it is intensely exciting to have to watch your horse compete and not know the outcome until the end of the race! You stand there shouting encouragement at the screen!!

simply the best on line horse racing stable management game. i usually get bored with games really quickly but track king has held my attention i started playing 2008.
the players of the game are friendly and there`s a mentor programme to help new player learn some of the ins and outs of the game but you play how you want really :-)

I have only been playing for two months, but have quickly become absorbed in the tactics and strategies. Cant see that I will ever master the game, but get thrilled with the steady improvement in my horses, jockeys, and stable. Give it a go. FANTASTIC!!!

I've lost many a night's sleep with this one. It's complicated, thrilling and totally addictive game-play makes it the best online game I've ever played. Highly recommended.

Sometimes you wake up, go on a trip to somewhere completely unknown, waiting for that magical moment when something crosses the path of your eyes and you are in awe of all that is great. Track King isn't this. But it is a challenging and addictive game, and you probably won't bother making that trip if you have this to keep you entertained. Who needs nature when you have high speed broadband?

started playing several months ago i am in my 3rd season total absorbed by this game
consistently on the computer day and night attending the sales hoping to buy the next Black caviar or So You Think to win a cup race
you breed train sell and bet on horses also the nurturing of a young apprentices to fully fledge jockeys
this sim game rocks to TK developers you have made it possible for a wannabe cash strapped joe bloggs to enjoy the thrills of being a winning horse owner

This game is great. I am always having a good time on this game, watching my young horses train into champs, and watching my full grown champs win races and cups (Well I havnt got into cups yet, but in the future...), and if you get tired of waiting for racedays to come up, then there is usually races going on somewhere else that you can bet on and try to win some extra cash.
All I have to say about this game is- Simply Amazing!

Greetings , i play this game since 7oct 2008. very few games catched my atencion for so long in a row, but Tracking its brilliant and complex. its hard to master (as all games should be), a very good comunity , and toons of stuff that u can aim in game , Breeding,Horse Genectics, Training horse/jockeys,League races, Cup races , Stakes races ... and mutch more.

I have been playing TK for two weeks and i have to say after looking for a horse simulater game for weeks this one is it. The program and moderation guy's hit this one perfect. This is the kind of PC Game that can engross you for years. It has just the right amount complexity and suprise to keep coming back for more and more gameplay. And i have always loved Horses and Horse Racing. I have always missed being at the sports room at Ceasers Palace , well now i can play at Track King and have all those moments and more. Great thing is gameplay is free.

I love strategy games but get bored easily and move on to the next game after a max of 6 months. I've been on Track King now for nearly 9 months now and I'm not backing out of this one.... not when I am SO close to winning the league but have new competition and young horses to train and older ones that will need replacing soon, and I'm just figuring out how the race and jockey instructions work with my horses and....... well no you can't get me away from it. I won't move on yet... not for another (works it out) 20 or so years?

Read through the above messages and I can tell you its all true . I played for over 3 yrs and then had a 1 yr break just logging on once a month to keep stable active in case . Well in case it was and now back for 6 months and as enthralled as the first time and don't think I'll be leaving . The beauty of this game is that whether your a veteran or a rooky within 5 or so seasons you can be on a reasonable level playing feild . Definitely worth the dive .

I have played a lot of these manager games like motor racing,football and tennis and they only appeal to certain gamers not the type who like action/warfare games like call of duty on line.To play this game it helps if you like and have a knowledge of horse racing as there is plenty to learn and the lon ger you play the more involved it becomes.This is the best manager game i have played since 2011 and has lots of features for free players like watching a graphical race replay before you know results which can be satisfying.
Of course if you become a paying owner you get added features but for free this is recommended.I cannot say it is the best horse racing game as I have not tried any others.

If you want an arcade game walk on by. If ,however, you dream of being Sheik Mohammed racing and breeding your own horses as part of a friendly community then TK is for you. Most players are ,like the support group you would get at any Anonymous counselling group of your choice except that this addiction is absolutely FREE. There are 4 season per year meaning that you can spend over two years with the special foal you bred through to his retirement. You get attached. I have been playing for 10 months and am still learning every day. My son who started after me is closing in on me fast and I have made many friends in TK who I have contact with outwith the game. Brilliant. PUIR DEID BRILLIANT.

My girlfriend and I try every horse racing game we can find. We both tried this one and although on the surface it looked promising, it was just too complicated, confusing and need WAY too much patience to enjoy at all. I really wanted to like it but I didn't last long. Went back to my preferred game.

Have been playing TK since 2012 and it is the only game that has kept me interested and playing for more than 6 months.
Have found it to be simple to play by following some basic rules.

If you decide to get into the more intricate side of TK, say breeding, training jockeys and horses, betting etc it becomes more difficult but very rewarding. The forums are great for learning as are very helpful and some very interesting and friendly people.

If you enjoy horse racing this is the game for you, and get a mentor to help you learn TK fast, and it is free to play!

Track King is by far the best sports management game. If you wish, you can spend hours on improving your stable. If you prefer to just check in once a week or so, then that's fine too. Many different goals.
It does require patience and is not designed for those who need instant gratification.
I would think the price is right to give it a try.

This is the horse racing game I had been looking for all my life. A thinking man's game. The layers of strategy built into this game and the attention to the integrity of the simulation are mind-boggling. This is a game of patient stable building and racehorse development. You will have to devote some thought to it in order to excel - heck - perhaps even to survive, but the rewards are well worth it. You can play the game free of charge without being penalized. The developer wrote the game as a challenge to himself to develop a better sports management sim. He is not currently promoting the game or adding enhancements because he has to work his real job to put food on the table. Still, the game is stable, satisfying and incredibly complex just as it is. Highly recommended!

Excellent game for above average intelligence. If you are able to spend few hours every week on it, this game is for you. It is realistic as it gets, challenging and rewards your efforts. I have been playing for exactly 4 years and not get bored. Come try, highly recommended.

Am still playing Track King and even after 6 years of playing, I am still enjoying it very much. And an answer to the one person who sounds like he wants instant gratification without the effort or any thinking can have their game, we don't want people like that playing TK as it spoils it for everyone else. Also looking forward to the games upgrades which are coming this year :-)
Not many games stay around as long as TK has, and the developer is presently working on a new version. TK is for people who have patience, like horses and racing them, and can manage it like a business. There is so much to TK as it takes a season or 2 to become proficient at it, and there are many people in TK willing to help any new players :-)

What a game, there is lots to learn
It took me a while to understand the intricacies, so if you want to play get a Mentor and be patient to start with. You will quickly pick it up if your willing to learn and ask questions.

Love watching the race when my horse flashes home and wins or just leads all the way and had $10,000 on it for a win at 10/1

There are so many aspe3cts you cant mention them all, and you don't have pay and if you do it is about $1 US a week to get same extra benefits

Highly recommended for the patient thinking person

Is now not worth playing, very amateurish nothing works, pay money to race in silks of your own design but the recent revamp they haven't been working for over a month, the creator of the game appears to be no longer playing the game himself.
Wouldn't recommend this game to anyone, I am one of 3 that has left because of how crappy its become.

I didn't like this game too much to start with but it has grown on me. There is a bit of a learning curve but I do enjoy playing it now. I certainly think it is a game that is run fairly unlike some of the other horse games that are on the list.
