Online formula 1 manager game
Description
Grand Prix Racing Online is an online motorsport management game, where you take care of your own team. You start with the basic car in lower divisions, but can improve it and get promoted to higher divisions.
You will have to work hard in order to be succesful in GPRO. There will be many things you have to take care of, like hiring drivers and technical directors, setting up your car for qualification and races, managing staff and facilities, negotiating with sponsors and more besides.
The season consists of 17 races, there are 2 races per week. You can spend as little as an hour per week managing your team, but of course the more you put in, the more you will get out and that extra effort in selecting your driver or setting up your car could be the difference between Promotion and Relegation.
There is a nice live broadcast of every race and you can enjoy the chat with other managers in your group and other divisions, see how your driver performs in each race, and decide the best race strategy according to your driver stats and weather predictions. You can create teams with your friends or with people from across the world that you have never met before to compete in the teams championship.
GPRO is in continual development, and for that reason we are open to suggestions from our players. This can be done in our extensive forums, or our own internal Private Messaging System. There are always great people online that will read and share your thoughts about mostly anything, there is even a F1 forum!
All this can be done with a simple browser from your home or work at any time! There is nothing to download at all.

have to be a genius to figure it out. Not suitable for beginners. DO NOT TRY!
Generally nice design. Ugly though is the wannabe internet heros that make GPRO home.
have to be a genius to figure it out."
Yea, definitely not a game for your round little empty head.
Strongly recommend it.
Recomend!
If there is only one nine game you ever play, this should be it
I'm not a big motorsport fan but love this. Challenging game to get to the very top and not for those that want more of an arcade experience as it does take time and effort to progress.
Great community too, no the most part.
a nice promotion and relegation system
do not need to be online during races, all strategy is planned beore hand
Bad: no more innovation, not being devoloped further to include new features. unisnspiring visual, , , somewhat unrealistic due to unmotivated and stubborn development team.
Missing features such as intermediate tyres, espionage, track moisture levels, mechanics (repairs),
Good but without plans to intergrate new features and make the game more accessible and user freindly, it is an accuired taste, and short of technological advancement.
6-7/10 I play the game.
Strategy takes too much time to set, I'd easily lose more than 1h just to set up one race and if you really want to get out of the rookie series, you need adjacent sites and programs to help you.
All in all, good game but I prefer others, namely MyRacingCareer. A hell of a lot easier to play (takes about 5 min to do the practices and set up a qualification and race strategy ), you can get about 4 races in one day if you're lucky, you can actually see it updating regularly and has great community.
To get to top levels it takes you years. Great challenge if you like long term planning.
And the best of all, it´s not a "Pay to win" game, it´s totally free and paying doesn´t give you any advantage over other managers.
Simply the best ;)
The graphical representation of a live race is very poor, to the point which objects do nor animate, nothing moves, which is a non in a racing style game
Also you cannot "repair" the car only buy new parts
and the tacical options in race planning or very restrictive
It may not be our cup of tea it it could be a perfect brew, the real shamw though is the people who play it, blindly believing the game is already perfect
Recently I've been trying to find an alternative game that has a similar style to GPRO. So far the closest I found is IMoto, which seems to be more realistic, less complex and much less frustrating.
the game is a challenge and very engaging. It requires planning and tactical decision making.
It is also a great thrill to achieve your goals and advance in the levels. Tryit you may find it grabs your instinct for competition.
There is a discord for the game, and the server is very active and fun.

"It's tedious to play,"
"No skill needed as everything is calculated with online calculators, just enter what they say and watch then watch as you crash out the race"
"nothing special here.
have to be a genius to figure it out or use pay to use calculators."
"If you like to kiss peoples behinds then the community on this website is for you"
"community is not so good as many describe it. little help. some are feeling superior and are very ironic and sarcastic about some content, so they do not help at all."
"Bad: no more innovation, not being devoloped further to include new features."
"no addiction factor. and i think that is bad, since it gets boring very soon"
" i think many will drop out and leave soon. so i think it is a game, where the devs did not find a way to make it run profitable, so the development got stuck."
"you need to use a 3rd party website ( that the dev get a kickback from) that calculates evey thinh for you and they charge you for this , so the game is Free to play if you want to be last every race or pay to use their calculators - scam"
"Strategy takes too much time to set, I'd easily lose more than 1h just to set up one race and if you really want to get out of the rookie series, you need other sites and programs to help you."
" it also has imo a huge downside which troubles this game like a huge wart on our face T develment teen are UNBELIVAEABLY stubborn to modify game elements"
"the real shame though is the people who play it, blindly believing the game is already perfect "
"Warning! the creators of the game will NEVER remove your account, so you're stuck with their spam forever - they simply refuse to remove your data and ignore any contacts just to lie how many users they have"
"extremely boring"
This game should be reported and closed down!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
If you read the rules and if you are not dumb, you will get lot of help by the community.
Truth is, more data you have, more accurate you can be in planning of your race strategy and car development and financial management. All 3 aspects are important,
So true is, if the impatient newbie comes and impolitely requests the help, he might get the answers he does not like.
But unless you are dumb, you should understand that know how you get after years of data collecting you do not give away. Getting those data and understand how it works are the part of fun.
The GAME IS GREAT. Today we race in Spa, Belgium. I would love to finnish at 14-16th place out of 36 other cars/managers on track...:-)
