But if you want a game set on "easy" try something else!
A football management game should be easy to play, but hard to master. Itsagoal.org balances this very well, and once you have got to grips with the layout, there is so much to learn and explore. Even top managers still learn about the game and when you see your work pay off the game is very rewarding.
One huge benefit of Itsagoal.org is that it’s totally free to play. Other similar games on the internet offer micro-transactions and you often need to spend real life money to grow your club and compete with other managers. With itsagoal.org, users who play for free are on a level playing field with managers who subscribe which is unique.
There really is something for everyone, whether you like to log in for a couple of minutes a day or take a more analytic approach, the game can be fun for all. There is a warm and friendly community to help with any questions, and with the owners implementing new improvements, there has never been a better time to sign up.
The reasons for that are simple. It's beautifully simple, yet just complicated enough to be addictive. The game keeps you guessing, frustrates you, teases you and then drags you back for more. Getting to the top level is very tough, that's what makes you want to come back and try again. Build a club up from the ground, or take on an already successful club and develop it further.
I don't have time to spend hours a day playing online games. But for around 15 minutes a day I enjoy logging on and escaping the hassles of the real work and managing my team. There's so many plus point about this game, I'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting an online managerial game that is that little bit different and has so much to offer!
It only requires a little bit of attention each day but covers all aspects of running a football club. I particularly like that you can choose the path you want to navigate, whether its to slowly build a club up from the bottom to the top or try and win as many games as possible from the off.
Its a challenging game, where planning is important if you are to succeed long term. I would highly recommend it.
A real thinking mans game if you want to be a successful manager.
Build your club and maintain it through the seasons. Have a successful cup run in the league cup or the IAG cup. Transfer the deadwood and revitalise your squad, train up the youth academy and find this rough diamonds. Increase your stadium size but watch out for the taxman at season end. Honestly this game has everything to keep you interested.
Still some points to address in the game format but in its present guise it still has me hooked. My wife tells me at 8 o’clock uk time that it’s time for my update!
I find great satisfaction from developing players from my youth academy whether that's to use in my first team or sell for a big profit. Then again, I also like splashing out on some of the better players in the game and maintaining a presence in the upper echelons of the league (though not necessarily picking up trophies).
Whether you see yourself as the next Guardiola or the merely the next Kenny Jackett, there’s plenty of fun to be had on itsagoal.
You have total control over the running of your club, everything from selecting your team, selecting the tactics, players and staff contracts, training your players, building a youth academy, stadium expansions, ticket prices, the list goes on.
This game isn't easy, you must keep a close eye on all aspects of the game, especially the financial side. But it by far the most enjoyable online football game I have played and this game has been around for years, which shows how good it must be
Having been a manager since its first iteration, there are a number of different aspects in the game to keep you hooked from day one. From managing individual players training schedules to train up youth academy graduates, allowing them to reach their potential in your first team, or be sold on for a profit. Or competing against other managers in your local League Cup, battling against 200 other teams to earn local league bragging rights. You have the option to set your ticket price for home games to increase match day income, and, when the time is right, you can build new stands and let more paying fans in to support your team, growing your fanbase and your club profit.
Each league has its own Transfer Market, meaning you can sell those you deem surplus to requirements, or scouting for the missing link in the starting eleven who can hit 20 goals a season and fire you to league and cup glory.
ItsaGoal.org is THE best free to play online football management game around, don’t miss out!
New joiners start with a squad of 23 players and a considerable amount of money in the bank to get you up and running. There are loads of help files to take you through all aspects of the game. There are also some really good chat threads as well with even more advice. Experienced managers are always on hand to help steer you in the right direction.
The beauty of the game is that you can play it any way you like. Plan for the long term and build your club up slowly in the lower divisions before hitting the big time with a competitive team. Jump straight in to the top league and try and compete with the best teams in the game or switch clubs to restart and use your knowledge to build on your successes and learn from your mistakes.
Everyone finds their level whether it's a Top 10 club, a mid table team in the top division or someone building from the bottom.
You get out of the game what you put in. Once you know how the game works then you can progress quite quickly even if you are limited on time day to day.
Why not give the game a try and see what you have been missing.
Enjoy!!
